Primitive Blessings to all! Welcome to my new blog!! I am so excited that you stopped by! I am so blessed to be on a new adventure in my life. I wanted to finish college this semester and teach; however, God had other plans for me. I have been struggling with this for sometime and I have finally decided to take a leap of faith, and actually listen to God. I am in the process of opening The Crowe's Nest Farm and Gift Shoppe. This will be a very quaint, country gift shop that offers a unique variety of primitive gifts and seasonal farm products. I love to craft barn quilts, salt dough ornaments, and special barn lumber signs. My Dad and I enjoy making tobacco stick crafts, and my Mom and I love special sewing crafts. Anythings that stands still gets painted at our house. Thankfully, my parents and a very special uncle only live a few feet away. They are always willing to help out with any project that I begin. I will soon post some pics of things that I have created and some photos of the progress of the Shoppe. I look forward to hearing from all of you and sharing my photos and ideas. Please leave me a comment, and please keep myself and this new, adventure in your prayers. Thanks...we'll talk again soon!!

For some reason, I cannot get my comments to link to my "real" blog. This is the link to the blog that I am using: www.ahairlessdogarabbitandsavannahmoss.typepad.com

  2. Welcome! Thank you so much for your sweet comments over at my BellaDella. I am so happy to have you around and I know you will enjoy blogging so much. I find so, so much inspiration in Blogland. I know you will too.

I cannot wait to see more of your shoppe and all the goodies that you make. I was especially excited to see the mention of tobacco sticks. I come from a family of tobacco farmers and have tons of old sticks from that time. I've been wanting to make one of the stars out of some. I'd love to see what you make.

Good luck in your fun endeavors and let me know if you need anything or have any questions.

    Have a wonderful weekend!
